light kits for motorcycles?

how safe are these? i saw some on ebay. are these even legal to use while riding? and any other info you can give me for these. it would be cool to have this stuff on your bike. here’s the site

Nada Motorcycle Book Value

December 29th, 2009 admin No comments

Is there an accurate listing for the value of used motorcycles?

Tried Nada, Blue Book, etc. The numbers are all over the place! Some even %50 different.

Book value and market value are two different things. The best way to find an overall value is to check ended listings on eBay. You can see what they sold for as well as the geographic location. Keep in mind the shipping costs that comes with buying a bike on eBay and factor that in. But, all in all you will get an idea of the actual market value of your bike.

can my bike insurance company charge me £25 for changing my address?

they said thats what it says in the t&c’s and they will send me the paperwork in the post, this seems wrong what should i do can i appeal or contact a watchdog, i have moved less than a mile from my old house and i still live in the uk
i still live with my parent, the area has less crime, is more secure and they said it was an admin fee

They can and do in the UK. My car Insurers charged both myself and husband £25 each to change our address. Common practice and a rip off.

EDIT: They told us that was the fee for changing the address, nothing to do with moving down the road which we did.

Motorcycle Voltage Regulator Diagram

wiring diagram for yamaha motorcycle?

I have a 1981 Yamaha 650xs and I’m having a charging problem, I think, After I ride for about 50 miles my battery goes dead I’m not sure if it’s a wiring problem or if the voltage regulator is bad or just what. I’ve had the charging rotor replaced 3 times without and change. It’s my first bike and I don’t know much about motorcycle eletronics just looking for some answers to help me find the problem without just throwing parts at it that might not be needed.
I replaced the battery already and that one will go dead in the same amount of time as the first

I’m sorry, I don’t know much about charging systems, however you might consider purchasing a Haynes or Clymer shop manual for your bike. It should give you a wiring diagram as well as a trouble shooting list and step by step dis-assembly instructions.
