Get A Great Opportunity For Lots Of Bikers With Used motorcycle Sales

ads for used motorcycle sales can offer a great opportunity for lots of bikers to find some great spare parts that they need to customize new or old bikes. The bike manufacturing industry has a very rich offer: there are very numerous models, designs, product categories, market trends, accessories and much more. The buying decisions also differ greatly regardless if we’re talking about new products or used motorcycle sales. Local newspapers, magazines and internet websites are the right places to find the kind of bike or bike spare parts that you want at more convenient prices.

There are private and dealer’s used motorcycle sales, and the conditions offered for the transactions differ a lot. Here are the elements that matter most here. First of all, with private used motorcycle sales, you have better chances of flexibility, and you can definitely negotiate the price. There may be problems with the service inspection records and the reliability of the technical information offered. Maybe the bike looks great but you can’t be certain whether it hasn’t been cleaned and polished in view of the sale.

There are good bits and bad bits with used motorcycle sales organized by dealers. Many of the bikes sold as second hand vehicles used to be test bikes, which means that they are almost new. Companies cannot sell test bikes at the same price as new bikes, and therefore, they organize used motorcycle sales and offer really good prices. Such a bike will always be more expensive than one purchased from a private owner, but if you want to get warranty and the certainty of good maintenance and technical inspection, then official dealers are a much better choice.

No matter where you shop, make sure you take a test drive before deciding what to buy. Used motorcycle sales depend on the impression made on the potential customers. The bikes are prepared for the sale, re-conditioned and cleaned. Nevertheless, an experienced biker will be able to tell the quality of the vehicle by looking at all the technical parts from wheels and engine to disk brakes, lights and suspension.

If you are a novice, and you buy your first bike, make sure you get advice from some professional in the field. Never go shopping without someone with mechanical or technical training who knows a lot about bikes. Used motorcycle sales are a great chance to make a good deal, but on the other hand, chances are high to waste your money on a poorly maintained bike if you don’t know how to choose.

Searching information About sports Motorcycles

All sports motorcycles are classified in the street category. The design meets the high demands for performance, which corresponds to the way the features optimization takes place, usually at the expense of the rider’s comfort. The forefather of these modern vehicles was produced by Vincent Motorcycles, a company that produced bikes that reached astounding speeds back in the 50s. The first real sport bike was produced by Honda in 1969. And sports motorcycle have been acclaimed ever since as the most sophisticated bikes of all.

The first sports motorcycles produced by Honda had an in-line 4-cylinder engine, and front disk brakes, opening the door for new bike technologies. Then followed Kawasaki Z1 that fired competition among Japanese motorcycle manufacturers. At the international level, the Japanese ‘bike war’ put a stop to the expansion of the British motorcycling industry, and changed the market dominance. Japanese sports motorcycles thus became known as the best in the world, and they still maintain this reputation.

With sports motorcycles, the rider is interested in bike maneuverability, speed, acceleration, braking and cylinder capacity. The design matters too, but the highest emphasis falls on the high performance of the engines the quality of the breaking systems and the suspensions that provide durability and stability. As compared to other bike categories, these vehicles have larger tires necessary for large cornering speeds and greater lean angles. Moreover, wind protections and external panels are meant to reduce the aerodynamic drag.

Normally, sports motorcycles are used for racing, and they are less practical for street use as compared to other bikes. They have no large windshields, center stands or saddle bags. Aerodynamics and weight distribution are a lot more important here than the rider’s position or ergonomics. The foot pegs are a lot higher on these modern vehicles because the legs closer to the body keep the body weight over the tank.

Some sports motorcycles have a small cylinder capacity while others are really large. It suffices to say that there are small engine sizes ranging between 125 cc and 400 cc and very large bikes with 1200 cc or 1300 cc capacity. The smaller the bike, the easier it is to maneuver it; consequently, when choosing a bike, the rider needs to estimate well his/her capacity to handle the motorcycle. Beginners will almost never be able to control a 1200 cc bike, and it would be a waste of money to venture for such daring investments.

motorcycle tyre removing

Stephen Bonnici at motopsychos.co.uk has worked as a tyre technician on all types of vehicles . Stephen Bonnici worked as a tyre break down fitter or what is now known as a mobile tyre fitter for a large tyre company.

While working as a mobile tyre fitter , Stephen Bonnici removed replaced and repaired all kinds of tyres such as plant machinery tyres, haulage trucks tyres ,cars tyres ,vans tyres ,motorcycles tyres .

Although tyre changer machines are available now to use for mobile tyre fitting they were not at the time.

Stephen Bonnici mastered the art of tyre changing just with the use of tyre levers, Stephen Bonnici raced motorcycles and always found himself changing his own motorcycle tyres.

Removing a moto x tyre from a wheel with motorcycle tyre levers.

Tools needed to do this.

1, Valve Key

2, Tyre Bead Breaker,

3, Pair of Tyre Levers,

4, Tyre Bead Soap & Brush,

5, 13mm / 14mm Spanner

6, Rubber Mallet

Moto X or Off Road tyres can be more difficult than a large tractor tyre, a tractor tyre is only difficult in the sense it is heavy and not easy to flip over and move around, where as the moto x or off road motorcycle tyre is small to handle but the tyre ply casing is very stiff.

Be patient and never force the tyre bead with the tyre levers, this will snap the bead of the motorcycle tyre.

The wheel has been removes from the motorcycle.

First loosen the tyre lock nut , take the nut up to the top of the thread but do not take right off. You will find this usually opposite the valve area.

Remove the valve nut with a spanner and the valve core with a valve key ( Valve remover), keep the valve safe !

Once all the air has gone from the tyre it is time to place the motorcycle tyre into the bead breaker, some motorcycle tyre bead breakers are pneumatic, these are great for commercial use, a manual Motorcycle Tyre Bead Breaker is all you will need .

You can see a Motorcycle Bead Breaker here by visiting this link http://www.motopsychos.co.uk/tyrebead-breaker–tyc008-14987-p.asp .

Place the head of the bead breaker on the edge of the motorcycle tyre close to the rim.

Press the Tyre Bead Breaker down so it pushes the tyre down a bit creating a small gap between the bead and the rim.

Take the pessure off and now turn the wheel slightly and repeat pushing the motorcycle tyre down into the well of the motorcycle wheel, be shore to work your way around to at least a third the way round the tyre to save on forcing the tyre down on the first go.

Repeat this on both sides of the tyre, please note that you can not push the tyre bead in at the area of the tyre bead lock, to do this you need to push the bolt on the bead lock inwards through the hole until it stops at the nut on top, this is why the nut is not taken completely off.

Now that the motocycle tyre bead is down you can soap the beads using tyre bead soap and a brush, if the motorcycle tyre is very stiff you can use the tyre bead breaker to assist with this by holding the tyre down so you are able to get the brush in where needed, add a little water to the tyre soap, this helps it to run deep inside where you may not reach.

Next, at the valve, place the two motorcycle tyre lever into the gap between tyre and the rim, almost both levers at a 12 o’clock position to you, before you start to pull down on the levers, press down with your knees opposite at the 6 o’clock position to insure the tyre in the well.

The curve on a tyre lever bends more one way so you have more leverage on one side, its good to put one lever facing the other way when first pulling the levers down lifting tyre bead over the rim, this helps you to slide one of the tyre levers out ready for you to take another bite of digging the tyre out.

Be shore to take little bite, this mean the distance from the other tyre lever that is holding the tyre up, this lever some times can be held down by jamming it under the brake disc or the sprocket if on a rear wheel.

When putting tyre levers into the tyre you must not pinch the inner tube so care is needed !

Keep going until the one side of the motorcycle tyre is off the rim, now put your fingers inside and pull the inner tube out, be careful not to snap the valve.

Now stand the motorcycle tyre up with the wheel hanging through it, wheel facing away from you, and the tyre up against your knees .

Place the two tyre levers into the top of the tyre at the 12 o’clock position, start to bend the tyre levers over then hold, this creates the space for you to soap the tyre beads, if this was a commercial tyre the wheel would pop out of the tyre, but in this case with a moto x wheel, the wheel is to light and the tyre flexes , you have to repeat the digging with the tyre lever by hooking the rim out of the tyre, when pressure is added by bending the tyre levers over, a rubber mallet can be used to tap the tyre bead off the wheel.

The motorcyce tyre should be off rim by the time you have hooked a third the way around.

When looking for motorcycle tyre levers, try to buy ones that are not thick on the ends, thick levers take up to much space and are more difficult to put into the gap between the tyre and the rim.

You can buy motorcycle tyre levers from motopsychos.co.uk , see this link http://www.motopsychos.co.uk/tyre-lever-handled-deluxe-type-pair-tylh-14986-p.asp
