wedding Themes – motorcycle wedding Day

Are you and your soon to be just not the type that want to have a full blown traditional wedding that goes just like the flow of every aspect of every other wedding? love to shoot pool, play poker, drink beer, and ride motorcycles? Then you’re in luck because that’s what David and Jenny like to do too and incorporated that love into their wedding planning.

David (28) and his now wife, Jenny, (27) met four years ago at a bar and got married just last month. Their wedding was anything but traditional, but Jenny says she wouldn’t have had it any other way- their wedding was perfect for them, their friends, and even their families. This couple was fixed up in biker heaven, and that’s exactly what they wanted to show, so they had a biker wedding.

Let’s paint a picture of their wedding. Guests flood into the small chapel wearing their best, some of the men and women in lovely leather jackets while the rest of them were in more formal attire, still others are in gowns and suits. The seats are decorated with red bows on the outer sides, the seats themselves white with pillows on them. Between the rows, a dark red carpet is rolled out, good enough for any princess to walk down- though instead of rose petals of white and red, there are small cut outs of spades, hearts, clubs, and diamonds of black and red.

There at the end of the red carpet was our groom, David, waiting for his bride to walk down the aisle. Wearing regular tux slacks, with a button up top, and a black leather vest over it; his hair slicked back and tie tucked inside the leather vest. Soon, Jenny walks down the aisle with her father by her side. Her father has chosen to wear a tux while she’s wearing a knee high wedding dress and heels. In her hands is a bouquet with red roses and her face hidden by a small veil. Their vows are exchanged and their first kiss as a married couple is given and the two walk out of the chapel, with their guests following. David and Jenny put on their helmets (a white one saying ‘bride‘ on the back and a black one saying ‘groom‘ on the back) and jump on David’s motorcycle to meet the guests at a bar they rented out for the rest of the evening.

What would normally be a regular pool bar is done in beautiful decorations that keep the wild biker theme alive that David and Jenny both wanted. Our couple enters with the guests already celebrating, cheering and clapping congratulations for the two. The tables are covered with black table clothes, on them are poker wedding party favors place card holders saying the name of each guest on a playing card. Bottles of beer are covered by Bride and Groom Bottle Koozies, the family and friends of the bride get one with a wedding dress, and those who are family and friends of the groom get one with a tux. The night is spent having a good time with friends and family like a wedding party should be. Though once the night is done, the bride and groom get on their motorcycle and take off to escape to their honeymoon.

Victory Tops motorcycle Brands in Overall Quality

Victory Motorcycles consistently beat out the Harley Davidson brand of bikes in quality and serviceability. The new American motorcycle made waves since it appeared on the market years ago, and now diehard Harley riders are turning to Polaris’ Victory cruiser bike line to hit the road with style and piece of mind.

Hardly any Victory bike leaves the shop without new pipes or other specialty Victory parts and accessories added on.

exhaust pipes more than any other product seem to grace the rear end of Victory motorcycles so riders can be the baddest and loudest bikers on the road.

Bikers love to customize their motorcycles as they take them to various rallies and cruise nights for that award winning one-of-a-kind look.

And for a company like Victory, their brand quality is reflected in their parts as well. Of course, even the worst bike cannot be improved with the best parts.

Buyers should consider researching the bike that best matches their riding style and determine what parts they need, and what parts are about as useful and kitsch as tassels on the ends of bicycle handlebars.

Chrome always makes a motorcycle stand out well. Sometimes even going for specialty all-black parts can really give a cruiser that dark and imposing look.

Online retailers like Full Throttle Motorsports sell these parts and some of the coolest custom cruisers Victory has made, including the limited edition Arlen Ness designed motorcycles.

Arlen, and his son, Corey Ness, made names for themselves as some of the top crafters of motorcycles today, and could be considered the Ed “Big Daddy” Roth team of modern day chopper bikes.

Even Victory motorcycles, with their leading overall quality record according to JD power and Associates, typically need repairs and maintenance.

Thousands of Victory replacement parts can be purchased and ordered through Full Throttle Motorsports’ online shopping catalog. Orders over $100 even receive free shipping.

Full Throttle Motorsports, Michigan’s leading powersports dealer even sells parts and vehicles for many other types of motorsport brands, including: Yamaha, Suzuki, Polaris, Scwhinn, Piaggio, Vespa, Vectrix, Victory, Ranger, Aprilia, Big Bear Choppers, Big dog Motorcycles, and may order parts for off-brand vehicles.

Motorcycle repair experts always advise properly winterizing motorcycles if the local climate reaches freezing temperatures. Some suggest storing a motorcycle with a full tank of fuel so that moisture does not seep in the tank during the winter months.

When getting a bike ready after the long winter months, be sure to check for cracks in any liquid reservoirs on the bike and make sure tires have not lost inflation.

Some motorcycle race tracks change their safety requirement rules from time to time. It is important to check with racetracks to make sure ones bike has all of the most recent safety equipment, in order to ride at any race day event.

Of course helmets and protective leathers are practically a requirement for any kind of riding condition.

Best Bike insurance tips

Would you like to pay less for your bike insurance? Perhaps, you have just bought a Harley or Ducati and need insurance to protect your new motorbike. The below top 10 bike insurance tips will point you in the right direction and hopefully help you save some money.

1. Do not be penalized for loyalty. Even if your bike insurance provider has given you a discount you may still be paying too much. You should always compare bike insurance quotes when your policy is up for renewal

2. Advanced motorbike riding courses by Bikesafe can help you save on your insurance and stay safe on the road. They are available across England and Wales and cost as little as £40

3. Most people know that adding performance modifications to a bike can increase the cost of cover. This is especially true if you own an already powerful motorbike such as a Ducati. However, even cosmetic modifications which dramatically increase a bikes value can affect the price of your cover. Before you make any changes contact your insurance provider and find out how much extra you will have to pay

4. The more expensive and powerful the bike the higher the cost of insurance. If you are a new rider or a returning motorbike enthusiast you can buy a motorbike which is less powerful and older. The benefit of this is your cover will be cheaper and you can give yourself time to build up some consistent bike riding experience and no claims. By doing this you can purchase cheaper insurance when you do want to upgrade

5. Fully comprehensive cover is usually more expensive than third party. If you do own a motorbike which is low in value, you may want to consider buying third party insurance. However this will mean reducing the amount of cover which could lead to serious repercussions if you have an accident

6. Optional insurance extras such as legal cover, courtesy cars and breakdown cover are useful if you can afford them. If you want to instantly reduce the cost of your cover you do not have to purchase them

7. Installing approved alarms and immobilizers from companies like Thatcham can reduce the cost of your cover by as much as 10%

8. If you only use your bike occasionally and your annual mileage is below 3,000 miles you can obtain far cheaper insurance than someone who uses their bike for work purposes. Make sure you consider how much you intend on riding your bike and be as accurate as you can when obtaining a bike insurance quote

9. Where you keep your bike at night can have affect on the price of your cover, if you have a garage or a back garden make sure you notify your insurance provider

10. Obtaining bike insurance quotes from specialist providers can mean you pay less. Nowadays you can save time and money by comparing bike insurance quotes online
