Mitsubishi Montero Sport XLS with 200,000 miles?
I am looking at buying a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero Sport XLS with 209,000 miles. The car is from a respectable dealer and is in immaculate condition. Absolutely no mechanical problems. The dealer is asking 3500 for the car which is way low compared to the kellys blue book value of 3900 private party. He sells mostly motorcycles so he just wants the cars he has gone. So my question is do Mitsubishi Monteros usually last to have 250,000 or 300,000 miles on them or is its life coming to an end.
Im honestly shocked that it has gotten this many miles. They are really cool SUV’s but those ones were not that great on reliability and quality. It must have been taken very good care of. $3500 is not a bad price for a 4wheel drive vehicle. You should bring it to a mechanic you trust and have them look it over and see what he says.

Is there a college in southern california for motorcycle mechanic?
and what is there salary range?
Like ChprChpstr said, MMI in PHX is the way to go if you’re serious. I have friends that have graduated from there, and I have a Bro in there right know. I’ve been there and it’s real nice. Do yourself a favor and check it out. If you do well there you might see decent pay. I like working on bikes but my own and real close friends to help them out.

Getting motorcycle insurance is a must for motorcycle riders in the UK, as well as in the U.S.A, Europe and Asian countries. Most riders in America and Europe countries ride motorcycles for pleasure. In Asian countries like China and India people more commonly use motorcycles as their main mode of transport for commuting to offices.
motorcycle insurance premium rates depend on many factors such as the purpose for which the motorcycle is used, amount of miles the motorcycle has travelled and the power of the motorcycle engine. When choosing insurance, as with car insurance, motorcycle owners have the option of going for liability insurance and as well as the complete coverage. The rates available will also depend on the driver record. If the driver has been issued tickets and doesn’t have a good driving record then the rates offered will be higher and hence it is necessary for the motorcyclist to try to maintain a good driving record.
In the case of motorcycles, liability coverage will cost less than normal auto insurance as the amount of damage that can be caused by a motorcycle is on average much less than the potential damage caused by cars. Theft risk is however higher in the case of the motorcycles and hence the insurance companies will charge more for theft insurance coverage of motorcycles. It is always sensible for motorcycle owners to go for the theft insurance.
In order to get a good deal on their insurance, motorcycle owners can shop online for various companies’ quotes. There are a number of online web sites that provide insurance quotes for given data on a particular motorcycle.
There is also another option of reducing the rates on the motorcycle insurance. Motorcycle owners can consider taking online courses on safe motorcycle driving. Having a course certificate will reduce the insurance rate.
Insurance companies will also take the power of the motorcycle and the age of the motorcycle owner into consideration. If a 25-year-old youth wants to get insurance for the 750cc motorcycle, then the rates quoted by the insurance provider will be very high. Thus, one has to be aware of the various factors before going to get the insurance quote for their motorcycle. One should generally start by shopping online to get the best available insurance quote and proceed from there. However, check the small print, as the cheapest quote is not always the best motorcycle coverage to opt for.

Where can I find steve madden buck boots or something similar?
I am searching for a pair of motorcycle-type boots (tall, flat black boots with buckles, or something along those lines). I found “steve madden women’s buck calf length buckle boots” online and I like the way they look, but every online store that carries them is out of stock. Can anyone tell me where i can find these boots, or something similar to them? Also, I would prefer that they not be super expensive. Thanks!
I looked it up and its on the website below.

buying a dual sport, how much should I save up?
I am looking to buy a used 1990s street legal dual sport and was curious how much should I save up to be able to buy a bike plus the appropriate riding gear?
I want a mid 90s XR 600, what would be a fair price for one of these bikes? (Also if you have another bike in mind please tell me about it).
I was going to buy all my gear off of ebay used but I wanted to have good quality stuff because I like my skin on my body and not the road. How much does used riding gear typically cost?
I was thinking about $2,000 to $2,500 should cover the motorcycle, gear, insurance, registration, and rider safety course. Any different opinions? Here is how I price it.
Motorcycle $1,300
Insurance $90 per year
Registration $200 (I live in California)
Safety Course $150 (Required by DMV)
Gear $250+
Basically I just want to know if you think it will cost a different amount, and how much is an appropriate price for a mid 90s XR 600.
For a $1300 motorcycle, you’re almost certainly going to need to spend $300~400 in maintenance (parts if you do 100% of the work yourself).
And for gear, I have $400 in my boots Alone. The gear I wear while riding off-road totals around $1800. Granted, it’s the best of the best, but most of it was bought used. You have the right idea on Why to buy gear, but you’re cutting yourself short ~ especially if you’re going to be riding off-road any. ankle/foot injury is the #1 injury off-road, knee is #2 ~ so spend more money on those.
Other bikes to look into that are like the XR600 are the Kawasaki KLR650, Suzuki DR650, Honda XL650 (or XR650L) ~ which bend a little more towards road use than the XR600. If you want a little more off-road use, then look towards the KTM LC4 (RFS motor) ~ but price will likely exclude that.
Good luck!
